Deep Sea Red Crab

The Prince of shellfish
The Red Crab is a fabulous crustacean from the Southeast Atlantic Ocean that lives about 1000 meters deep in waters with a temperature of 4ºC.

The Red Crab (Chaceon maritae) is part of a genus with more than 30 species widely distributed throughout the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, some of them with great gastronomic value such as our Deep Sea Red Crab captured in the Southeast Atlantic Ocean, at depths between 600 and 1200 meters, with semi-artisan techniques using traps and preserving the seabed.

Our product is processed on board with a classification by sizes and cooking in seawater without additives and after deep-freezing, in a process of less than 6 hours from its capture to guarantee all the freshness and texture of the product for the delight of our customers.
